SUPERFAST DORSET BROADBAND PROJECT: The aim of the project is to provide superfast broadband internet connectivity across Dorset. For the purpose of this project 24Mbps (Megabits per second) is the definition of 'superfast'. You can sign up to receive an e-newsletter about the progress of the project HERE
BUS SERVICE CUT: The 212 service that operates between Dorchester and Yeovil became a Monday to Friday only service from Monday 7th April. Full timetable details can be found • HERE • The latest edition of 'Your Dorset', the newspaper of Dorset County Council says "A host of bus services have been retained to support local economies and give people access to work, training and shopping opportunities."

STRATTON SIGN RESTORATION: Stratton Parish Council has arranged for the village name sign at the western end of the village (seen above) to be restored and repainted. The work was carried out by a Stratton resident who prefers to remain anonymous. The sign looks considerably better and the restoration will help preserve it for a good few years. Thanks to all concerned.
TENNIS COURT NETS: The nets are in place on the playing field tennis court. They will stay up until the autumn. If you need to raise or lower them please call Tracy on 01305 257290.
EXERCISE TO MUSIC FOR OVER 50's: Sally Cunningham's classes start on Tuesday 29th April at 10am in Stratton Village Hall. There will be eight hour-long classes on consecutive Tuesdays at £5.00 per session.
